Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hussein Stahl (ranked 2170 p4p, 99 weight class) and Jerome Steel (ranked 705 p4p, 38 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

22 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hussein Stahl!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jerome Steel!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Daniel Bishop and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Steel scores with a nice right hand.
Steel scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Stahl misses with a looping right.
Steel fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Stahl manages to avoid it.
Stahl throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Steel sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Stahl misses with a straight left.
Stahl darts in and clinches Steel up against the cage.
Steel breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Steel connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Steel misses with a looping right.
Stahl avoids the body shot from Steel.
Stahl misses with a series of wild punches.
Stahl closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Steel's guard.
Stahl will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stahl wants to pass the guard but Steel is keeping the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stahl accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Stahl prevents Steel from getting back to his feet.
Stahl throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Steel works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Stahl stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Steel swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Stahl is working hard here to advance position.

Stahl advances to half guard.
Steel is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Stahl pulls his head out easily.
Stahl is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Stahl seems to be working for a kimura but Steel defends the submission attempt.
Stahl passes the guard and advances to mount!
Steel really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
We've been hearing good reports from Stahl's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Stahl fails to advance to Steel's back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Stahl takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.

Stahl has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Steel trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Stahl is persistently looking for the submission but Steel is defending it well.
Stahl has the hooks in. Steel is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Steel won't enjoy being in this position. Stahl looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Steel is tapping - it's over boys! Stahl picks up the submission victory!
