The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chops connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Dick's hands.

Dick drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Dick is working Chops over with some ground and pound from side control.
Dick connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Chops some visible discomfort.
Dick tries to advance to mount but can't.
Dick cracks Chops with a big right hand but Chops just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Dick slows the pace down.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Chops is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Dick is controlling him well.
Chops on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Chops tries to get out of the position.
