Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sunray Spike (ranked 825 p4p, 33 weight class) and Lucas Marston (ranked 1339 p4p, 44 weight class). Spike comes into the arena with For Heavy Metal we will die! blaring out of the sound system. Marston has chosen Bring it on motherfucker as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sunray Spike!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lucas Marston!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A shot to the liver by Marston. Beautiful body shot.
Spike lands with an uppercut that bounces Marston off the cage and back into range.

Spike throws a leg kick
and Marston counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Spike displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Marston throws out the jab.

A looping hook to the body misses from Spike. Marston does a little dance to reset his feet.

Spike lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Spike's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Marston connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Spike scrambles back to his feet.

Marston takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Marston will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Marston bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Spike's head backwards.

Marston pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Spike wants to clinch up but Marston keeps it at a distance.
Marston scores with the left hand. Spike knows he should have avoided that one.
Spike throws a lazy right hand but Marston sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Spike looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
