Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frank Nada (ranked 1853 p4p, 218 weight class) and Brutus Brannagan (ranked 2146 p4p, 241 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brannagan scores with a hook.

Brannagan tries a head kick but it misses.
Brutus Brannagan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brannagan ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Nada moves away from the strike by Brannagan.
Nada has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Brannagan throws an elbow that misses. Nada uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Brannagan's guard. Nice move by Nada!

Brannagan throws a nice looking combination but Nada bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Brannagan feints a jab promting Nada to slip. Brannagan then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Nada slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Nada sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
My spies in The Beast inform me that Brannagan has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Brutus Brannagan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Brannagan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
