Dog comes to the cage accompanied by Fallout. Bizarria has chosen Arnaldo Antunes - Alta Noite as his entrance music. Three Dog has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Luciano Bizarria!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Dog jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Bizarria feints the counter takedown.
Dog darts in trying to clinch

and Bizarria counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Dog!
The ground and pound from Bizarria seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bizarria landing strikes.
Bizarria misses with the ground and pound.
Dog manages to work his way to half guard, despite Bizarria's best efforts.

Dog trying to control from the bottom.
Dog is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Bizarria scores with a couple of nice shots.
Bizarria lands with a punch from half guard.
Dog tries to get to full guard but Bizarria has control of the leg.
Bizarria slips a nice elbow through Dog's hands, connecting with Dog's forehead.
Dog wants to improve his position but Bizarria is controlling well.
Bizarria is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
The fighters are battling for position here. Dog manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Bizarria wants to control from the top but Dog keeps moving.
Dog is trying to hold Bizarria in close to prevent damage but Bizarria has managed to pass into half guard.

Dog is looking for a sweep. Bizarria is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dog taking some punishment here, with Bizarria in his half guard.
Dog is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Bizarria scores with a couple of nice shots.
Bizarria prevents Dog from improving his position.
Bizarria looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dog with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Bizarria is trying to control the action in half guard but Dog is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Bizarria scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Bizarria thows a huge punch but Dog dodges it nicely.
Bizarria not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Bizarria is nestled in close to Dog, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Bizarria prevents Dog from improving his position.

Dog is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bizarria pulls his head out easily.
Bizarria lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Dog gets back to full guard.

Dog has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bizarria can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Dog avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Dog pushes a forearm under Bizarria's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Bizarria is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Three Dog!
