In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 6 wins and 4 losses; Shunsui Kyoraku! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 3 losses; Rhicky Whysocki!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Ren Mimura and Yuuki Gou.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Whysocki working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

We've been hearing good reports from Kyoraku's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
