Coming up we have a welterweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Rollo Gracie (ranked 536 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Cleary (ranked 2377 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Jiu Jitsu: Apaga Mas Não Bate. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Patrick Cleary was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 5 wins and 1 losses; Rollo Gracie! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Patrick Cleary!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Cleary pushes Gracie up against the cage in a clinch.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Gracie has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Cleary is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Gracie.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gracie is on top in guard.

Gracie has hold of Cleary's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Cleary manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Gracie tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cleary is squirming around, avoiding Gracie's attempts to control the action.

Cleary is staying active underneath Gracie, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Cleary is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Gracie is looking to take a break and control but Cleary is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

As we have tied on points, we go to a tie breaker and Cleary gets a bonus point for attempting more subs.
Cleary wins on points by 11 to 10.
