The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hart misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Melamies.
Melamies has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Melamies displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hart throws out the jab.

Hart shoots in looking for a takedown. Melamies tries to sprawl out of it but Hart keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Melamies manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Hart goes for a double leg but Melamies avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Melamies continues to drive forward.
Hart feints and then cracks Melamies's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Melamies down.

Melamies goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hart swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Melamies lands a leg kick that knocks Hart off balance momentarily.
Hart tries to move into range but Melamies moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Oh Hart is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hart throws a poor cross that misses
and Melamies counters with a huge left! Hart is in big trouble! He's backing up but Melamies isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Hart from any more damage. A dominating finish by Melamies!

In his post fight interview, Ibrahim Mamu Melamies started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
