Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Diaz (ranked 2165 p4p, 92 weight class) and Ushat Belov (ranked 2070 p4p, 87 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz tries to close the distance and clinch but Belov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Belov is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Diaz with a body shot.

and Diaz counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Diaz connects with a couple of short punches.
Diaz trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Diaz avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Diaz stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Belov has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Diaz manages to get his head free but now Belov has transitioned to an armbar! Diaz grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Belov! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
