Graves has chosen London Calling as his entrance music. Alex Graves is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baker throws a right and a left that both miss.
Baker ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
A lazy body kick from Baker

and Graves counters with a single leg into guard. Baker didn't expect that.
Baker keeping moving, preventing Graves from controlling successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Graves thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Graves stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Baker swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Baker wants to stand but Graves is controlling the position.
Graves trying to control but Baker is working from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Graves is stalling in the full guard.
Graves prevents Baker from getting back to his feet.

Graves drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Graves jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Graves slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Baker looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Baker wants to stand and escape but Graves is having none of it.
Graves won't allow Baker to sweep him here.
Graves sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Baker's guard.

Graves has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Baker defend it? Graves steps over the head and cranks it - Baker is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Graves!
