The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves goes for a double leg but Bangbang avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bangbang continues to drive forward.

Alves quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Alves but it's paid off an Bangbang is forced to tap! Nice work by Alves .

A relieved looking Renzo Alves thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
