The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Muhammad.
Muhammad tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hands defends well and Muhammad ends up having to push Hands into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Hands doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Muhammad misses with a takedown attempt
and Hands counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Muhammad tries to bum rush Hands with a series of wild strikes but Hands uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hands comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Donk. Hands catches Muhammad right on the button with a cross.
Hands fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Muhammad closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Muhammad throws a left and a right that both miss
and Hands counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Muhammad doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Hands counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Atif Muhammad has been cut.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Atif Muhammad. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Hands's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Hands duly obliges.
Hands throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Muhammad stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Muhammad is breathing heavily.
Muhammad takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Muhammad tries to grapple but his opponent circles
letting Hands counter with a right hand.
Hands connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Hands works Muhammad's body with a nice hook.
Muhammad closes the distance but Hands moves to the side
and Hands cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Hands fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Muhammad looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

In his post fight interview, Pillow Hands gave a big smile as he said 'Hope my hands tasted damn good, because you won't be able to eat anything else for a while!'.
