Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dwayne King (ranked 3884 p4p, 320 weight class) and Eric Drenthe (ranked 3250 p4p, 281 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dwayne King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eric Drenthe!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Drenthe misses.
A counter left hand to the body from King misses its target.
King misses with a hook. Drenthe ducked under it nicely.
King throws the left hand but Drenthe avoids the punch easily.
King moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
King moves away from the strike by Drenthe.

King fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Drenthe looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

King lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Eric Drenthe has been cut.

King looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

King is stalling here. Drenthe is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! King seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Drenthe has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

The fight stays on the outside here - Drenthe looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
King drops Drenthe with a left and a right! Oh, Drenthe is hurt - King dives into side control looking to finish!

King is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Drenthe is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

King tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no King has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
King wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Drenthe, who protects the arm well.
King is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

King throws a left that rocks Drenthe and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! King dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Drenthe regain composure!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
King is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Drenthe is trying to escape and King transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Drenthe is forced to tap! Nice work there by King! Very nice indeed!

Dwayne King decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
