Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Lynn (ranked 4645 p4p, 447 weight class) and Toktogulovich Bakiyev (ranked 4107 p4p, 408 weight class). Toktogulovich Bakiyev is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jack Lynn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

22 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Toktogulovich Bakiyev!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lynn misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bakiyev.
A nice side step and Bakiyev releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Bakiyev checks the leg kick nicely there.

Lynn uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Bakiyev has time to react.

Lynn throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Lynn closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Bakiyev is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Lynn scores with a couple of nice shots.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lynn is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bakiyev is just riding it out for now. Lynn eventually gives up the hold.

Lynn looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bakiyev with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Lynn lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bakiyev has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bakiyev and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Bakiyev throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lynn stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Lynn is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Bakiyev fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lynn looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Bakiyev, as that shot connected.
Lynn swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Bakiyev counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Bakiyev lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Lynn at a distance.
Bakiyev's corner calls for a 1-2. Bakiyev obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Lynn cracks Bakiyev with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Bakiyev tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Lynn pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Bakiyev is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Our winner, Jack Lynn, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
