Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Boris Bulletzowich (ranked 126 p4p, 22 weight class) and Shane MacGowan (ranked 606 p4p, 80 weight class). MacGowan is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Pogues - Streams of Whiskey. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Shane MacGowan!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Lou da Vinci and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bulletzowich closes this distance looking for a takedown but MacGowan circles away.

MacGowan has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Let's hope that MacGowan has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as MacGowan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
