The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Armbar uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mason.
Mason moves out of range as Armbar throws a body kick.
As Armbar tries to get set, Mason tries to push him back and clinch up but Armbar manages to avoid the attempt.
Mason lands with a thumping leg kick.
Armbar throws a head kick but Mason moves out of range.
Armbar will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Mason has managed to clinch.
Armbar wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Mason has him pressed against the cage.
A body shot lands from Mason.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mason tries to throw a body punch but Armbar avoids it by throwing Mason back against the cage.
