Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boltzmann Brian (ranked 23508 p4p, 846 weight class) and Aguta Grizzly (ranked 8164 p4p, 780 weight class). Brian comes to the cage accompanied by Are you a Boltzmann Brian?. Boltzmann Brian has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Boltzmann Brian!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Aguta Grizzly!
The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Damien Edna and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brian scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
No joy there for Brian, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Grizzly moves out of range of the strikes.
Brian throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Grizzly counters with a stiff right hand.

It looks like Boltzmann Brian has been cut.
Brian misses with a shot to the body
and Grizzly counters with a head kick.
Some bone on bone action there as Grizzly checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
A little jabbing left from Grizzly on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Brian pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Grizzly is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Brian misses with a series of wild punches.
Grizzly swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Brian pushes Grizzly up against the cage in a clinch.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Grizzly.
Brian misses with an elbow over the top.
Brian tries to pull guard but Grizzly forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Grizzly lands a shot to the body.

Grizzly breaks from the clinch.
Brian misses with a low kick as Grizzly jumps back.
Brian throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Grizzly avoids a kick to the body.
Brian misses with a wild body shot.
Grizzly swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Grizzly scores with a jab to the head.

Grizzly blocks a head kick by Brian.
A left lands for Grizzly.
Grizzly takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Aguta Grizzly is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Grizzly fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Brian on the side of the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Grizzly takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Brian has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Grizzly finds it's way round the side to connect with Brian's head.
Brian misses with an uppercut
and Grizzly counters with a low kick, right behind Brian 's knee.
Grizzly scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Grizzly stuffs the takedown attempt from Brian. Brian gets slowly back to his feet.

and Grizzly counters with a leg kick.
Grizzly takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Grizzly throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Brian.
Grizzly paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Boltzmann Brian's cut is getting worse.
Grizzly takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Grizzly walks forward, straight into a front kick from Brian.
Grizzly throws out a powerful jab.
Brian throws a poor cross that misses
and Grizzly counters with a straight right hand.
Grizzly avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Grizzly ducks under a wild hook from Brian.

Brian takes a swing at Grizzly's ribcage but misses.
It seemed like Grizzly was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Brian throws a jab when Grizzly was well out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Brian falls off balance throwing a combination
and Grizzly counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Brian thinking.
Brian throws a low kick but Grizzly moves out of range easily.
Brian keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Brian was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Boltzmann Brian seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brian lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Grizzly scores with a jab to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Boltzmann Brian's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Grizzly has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Grizzly feints and then cracks Brian's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Brian down.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Grizzly stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Grizzly wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Boltzmann Brian. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Brian doesn't manage to clinch there - Grizzly circles away.
Brian throws a wild body kick that Grizzly sees coming a mile off.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Grizzly! But no joy.
Brian throws a low kick but Grizzly avoids it.

Grizzly feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Brian's calf.

Brian takes a swing at Grizzly's ribcage but misses.
A nice side step and Grizzly releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Grizzly throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Brian throws a right and a left that Grizzly avoids nicely.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Brian gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Brian tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Grizzly is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Brian buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Brian!! Brian is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Grizzly throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
