The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Koizumi clinches up with Ball and pushes him back against the cage.
Ball lands a hook that snaps the head of Koizumi backwards.
Koizumi is looking for a takedown.
Ball lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Ball working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Ball prevents the takedown attempt.
Koizumi is looking to break free of the clinch but Ball has double underhooks.
Ball digs a right hand into Koizumi's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Koizumi's gas tank.

Koizumi breaks from the clinch.
Ball scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Ball lands the left hand.
Koizumi looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Ball connects with a crisp jab.
Ball scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ball lands a glancing blow to the side of Koizumi's head.
Koizumi goes for a double leg but Ball avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ball continues to drive forward.
Lonzo Ball has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kazuo Koizumi.
Ball lands with an overhand left.

Koizumi is rocked!
Ball's jab looks to have found its range, popping Koizumi under the eye.
Koizumi is still on wobbly legs! Can Ball finish him?
Ball jabs Koizumi right on the nose. Koizumi blinks but takes it well.

Koizumi moves into the clinch.

Ball lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Koizumi backwards.
Koizumi tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Ball has Koizumi pressed against the cage, preventing Koizumi from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Ball lands with a left to the head.

Koizumi is trying to break free.
Ball lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Koizumi.
Ball lands with a light punch inside.
Ball unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Koizumi! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Ball is unloading with more strikes now! Koizumi drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
