Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcos Martinez (ranked 18321 p4p, 154 weight class) and Makanakananui Opuakuwa (ranked 23573 p4p, 150 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Hugh Johnson and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Opuakuwa tries to keep at a distance but Martinez has taken the fight into the clinch.
Opuakuwa drags the fight down to the ground.
Martinez has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Martinez cracks Opuakuwa with a solid left hand.
Martinez won't allow Opuakuwa to sweep him here.
Opuakuwa looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Opuakuwa is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Martinez is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Martinez is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Martinez drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Martinez seems to have locked his on tight now - Opuakuwa screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Martinez, as he picks up the win!
