Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Coker (ranked 5757 p4p, 671 weight class) and Eddie Nordon (ranked 5784 p4p, 673 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Coker might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Europe - The Final Countdown. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Eddie Nordon was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eddie Nordon!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice jab there from Nordon.

It looks like Daniel Coker has been cut.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Nordon, as that shot connected.

Nordon cracks Coker with an uppercut from hell and Coker crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Nordon's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Coker is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nordon scoring with some ground and pound.
Oh Coker is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nordon seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Coker seems to have got his legs back now.
Nordon postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Coker knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nordon on the ground.

Coker is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Coker has his foot on Nordon's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Nordon works his way back into a safe position though.

Nordon might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Coker haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Nordon postures up and lands a big shot to Coker's brow.
Nordon stands up over Coker, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Nordon throws a big right hand that misses.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Nordon lands a couple of elbows.
Coker will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Nordon working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Coker's head.
Coker on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Coker tries to get out of the position.
Nordon keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Coker's head.

Nordon throws a sloppy strike and Coker has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Nordon is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Coker!
