Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buzz Bixby (ranked 176 p4p, 24 weight class) and Hyryx Dall (ranked 263 p4p, 41 weight class). Dall has chosen Rattlesnake as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy body kick from Dall
and Bixby counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Bixby is in close to Dall's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Dall has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bixby can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bixby stands up over Dall, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Dall escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bixby gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Dall wants to sweep but no luck.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dall has his foot on Bixby's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bixby works his way back into a safe position though.
Bixby won't allow Dall to sweep him here.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dall is looking for a triangle but Bixby pushes his legs off easily.
Bixby with a flurry of punches that miss.
Dall has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bixby can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Bixby is working Dall over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Dall is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Bixby gets full guard.
Dall throws an elbow that misses. Bixby uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Dall's guard. Nice move by Bixby!
Bixby is posturing up here but Dall has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Bixby tries to roll out but it's too tight and Bixby has to tap! Slick submission there by Dall!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Hyryx Dall!
Hyryx Dall tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
