The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dunc with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Penn to score with a decent uppercut.
Dunc shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Penn pinned against the cage. Penn gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Nice takedown defense from Penn. No joy for Dunc on that attempt.
A countering left hand to the body from Penn misses.

and Penn counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Dunc thinking.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kyle Dunc. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Penn displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dunc.
It seemed like Penn was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Penn lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Dunc falls backwards - clearly groggy! Penn dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
