Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Manager Yanic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dreamiest Panda!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Dean Styles and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yanic closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Yanic lands in his opponent's guard.

Panda is looking to regain half guard here but Yanic keeps moving and retains side control.

We've been hearing that Yanic has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Yanic can't keep his opponent in guard - Panda advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Panda thows a huge punch but Yanic dodges it nicely.

Yanic is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Panda's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Panda's back!

Yanic controlling well, preventing Panda from escaping the position.
Yanic lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Panda turns into Yanic and is now in his guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Panda stands up over Yanic, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Yanic is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Panda stands and throws Yanic's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Panda works to advance to full mount. Yanic defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Yanic is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Panda is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Panda lands with a punch from half guard.
Yanic wants to get back to full guard.
Panda thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Yanic's head.
Yanic on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Yanic tries to get out of the position.
Panda looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Yanic with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Panda looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Yanic has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Panda is working away from the top position though.
Yanic tries to roll over but Panda keeps him under control.
Panda is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Panda lands a big shot there that rocks Yanic but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

My spies in Crapollas Gym inform me that Panda has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
A big strike lands for Panda! That's really hurt Yanic and he's turned his back - Panda keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Panda jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 6:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dreamiest Panda!
