Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Mason (ranked 2273 p4p, 336 weight class) and Monson Gleaves (ranked 3396 p4p, 465 weight class). Gleaves has chosen Somebody I Used To Know as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Max Mason has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Max Mason seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mason connects with a looping right hand.
Mason uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Gleaves has time to react.
Mason connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Mason scores with a decent looking hook.
Mason lands with an uppercut that bounces Gleaves off the cage and back into range.
Mason lands an overhand right.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mason lands a glancing blow to the side of Gleaves's head.

Mason digs a good hook to Gleaves's body.
Mason is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Mason jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
The fighters circle momentarily. Mason darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Mason lands a right hook to the body.
Gleaves walks into a stiff left hand from Mason.
Gleaves takes one on the button.
Mason misses with a straight left.

Mason lands a jab.

Gleaves is rocked!
Mason weaves into range and cracks Gleaves right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Gleaves goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Mason is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
