Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Tupac - Last Muthafucka Breathin'. Ward has chosen Spazz - Crush Kill Destroy as his entrance music. Brotha Gracie could well score a knockout today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Gracie wants it to stay on the feet.
Ward swats away the attempt to clinch by Gracie.
Ward misses with a takedown attempt - Gracie sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
A jab lands there for Gracie.

It looks like Max Ward has been cut.

Ward shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Gracie manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Ward is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Gracie has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Ward is looking to defend but Gracie has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Ward! Gracie pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Ward taps out and this one is all over!
