Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Griffith (ranked 1987 p4p, 78 weight class) and Jack Dawson (ranked 3344 p4p, 135 weight class). Dawson has chosen Titanic theme as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffith swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Jack Dawson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dawson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Griffith manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Dawson has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
