The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Dean Styles and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dux pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nicu takes a head kick and keeps coming.
It looks like Iosue Nicu has been cut.
Dux takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Nicu blocks a leg kick.
Nicu is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
A bone on bone clash there as Nicu blocks the leg kick.

A head kick misses from Dux.
Dux misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nicu throws a push kick but Dux slaps the foot to one side.
Dux connects with the punch.
We've been informed that Dux has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Dux lands a big head kick that sends Nicu tumbling to the mat! Dux takes a step backwards and waves Nicu back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Nicu is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dux lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Nicu goes down and covers up as Dux starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Frank Dux!
Frank Dux spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
