Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michael Koko (ranked 1717 p4p, 206 weight class) and John Kyle Romo (ranked 2396 p4p, 273 weight class). John Kyle Romo struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.3lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romo takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Romo lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Koko looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A big right from Koko misses.
Michael Koko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Koko feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Romo sprawling to the canvas! Romo rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Koko finish him?!
Romo is rocked!
It looks like John Kyle Romo has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Koko throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Romo is still on wobbly legs! Can Koko finish him?
Koko weaves into range and cracks Romo right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Romo goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Koko is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Michael Koko!
