Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gandolf Schmidt (ranked 3589 p4p, 134 weight class) and Ron Rousey (ranked 6794 p4p, 200 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Gandolf Schmidt has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Gandolf Schmidt seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rousey cracks a nice hook into Schmidt's ribs.

Schmidt has managed to clinch.
Schmidt gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Rousey.
Schmidt lands a shoulder strike.
Rousey is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Rousey.
Schmidt lands a hook to the side of the head.
Rousey can't break the clinch.
Schmidt lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Rousey takes a shot to the head.

Rousey is rocked!
Schmidt throws a punch but it's blocked by Rousey.
Rousey is still on wobbly legs! Can Schmidt finish him?
Schmidt creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Rousey with a big uppercut! Rousey tries to clinch up but Schmidt pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Rousey to the mat! Rousey covers up and Schmidt unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Gandolf Schmidt!
After winning the bout, Gandolf Schmidt thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
Ron Rousey spoke after the fight, saying 'Ronda......im coming home hunny!!'.
