Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Danny Greene!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevin Coburn!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Ackerman and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greene shoots for a double leg takedown but Coburn sprawls well. He's pushed Greene's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Coburn thuds his right hand into Greene's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Greene takes one on the button.
Coburn defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Greene.

Coburn let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Greene is trying to control the position but Coburn postures up.

Coburn is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Coburn is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Greene presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Greene has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Coburn is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Coburn has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Oooooh!!! Coburn has knocked Greene down with a huge combo! Coburn steps away and waves a wobbly Greene back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Greene takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Coburn swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Greene seems to have got his legs back now.
