Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Evan Glascoe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mitsu Nagai!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Ivan Kurochkin and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nagai throws a low kick but Glascoe avoids it.
Nagai misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Glascoe.
Glascoe half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Glascoe avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Glascoe with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Nagai to score with a decent uppercut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Glascoe fires out a quick counter leg kick but Nagai just manages to avoid it.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Glascoe tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Glascoe has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Glascoe will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nagai is looking for a sweep. Glascoe is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Glascoe is looking for a kimura but Nagai is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Glascoe to get the leverage.

Glascoe takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Glascoe is thwarting Nagai's attempts to control the position.

Glascoe has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Glascoe seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Nagai does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Nagai is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Mitsu Nagai showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Glascoe shoots in but Nagai avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Glascoe appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Nagai lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Glascoe has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Glascoe and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Nagai uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Glascoe.

Glascoe chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Nagai can pounce on him.

Nagai thows a body kick. Glascoe tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Nagai comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Glascoe is fighting to break Nagai's control of his arms but Nagai is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Nagai has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Nagai seems keen to control Glascoe's posture.
Nagai trying to keep a closed guard but Glascoe is proving a slippery customer.
Nagai wants to stand and escape but Glascoe is having none of it.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Glascoe tries to counter with a takedown but Nagai is quick to defend against it.
Nagai tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Glascoe paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Glascoe drops down looking for a counter takedown but Nagai sprawls and moves away.

Mitsu Nagai is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

I've got Nagai winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
