Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Santiago Holmes and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick from Dante misses
and Costa counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Costa prevents Dante from getting back to his feet.
Costa with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Dante knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Costa on the ground.
Dante keeping moving, preventing Costa from controlling successfully.
Dante wants to stand and escape but Costa is having none of it.
Costa postures up in Dante's guard and throws a big left but Dante blocks it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Costa wants to pass the guard but Dante is keeping the position.
Dante is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Costa is controlling him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Costa throws a big elbow that misses.

Dante is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Dante working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Costa .
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Costa 's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Dante has momentary wrist control but Costa slips an elbow through the middle.
Costa works over Dante with some ground and pound from guard.
Dante is rocked!
Costa postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Oh Dante is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Costa postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Dante covers up, he's hurt! Costa keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Costa and the ref steps in to end the fight! Costa can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
