Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rene Duchene!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Peter Branson and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duchene swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lesnar attempts a counter takedown but Duchene avoids it well and moves away.
Duchene jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Duchene throws a looping overhand right but Lesnar ducks down to avoid it.
Lesnar gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Duchene.


It looks like Mark Lesnar has been cut.

Duchene tries a body shot but Lesnar blocks it.
Lesnar has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Duchene after a bit of a struggle.

Lesnar is trying to trip Duchene. He has hold of a leg but Duchene is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Lesnar persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lesnar definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Duchene can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Lesnar controls the pace.
Lesnar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Duchene is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Duchene is just content to waste time from the top position. Lesnar takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Lesnar can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Duchene controls the pace.

Duchene must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Lesnar lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Duchene down.

Lesnar gets to mount! Duchene was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Rene Duchene's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Rene Duchene's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Mark Lesnar decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
