Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Musta Laine (ranked 147 p4p, 27 weight class) and Alessandro Orsini (ranked 505 p4p, 77 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Laine might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Disturbed - Sound of Silence. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Laine dives in and scores a takedown into Orsini's guard.
Orsini trying to control the position.
Laine tries to free his leg and advance position but Orsini is retaining full guard.
Orsini looking for a sweep. Not yet Orsini, not yet.
Laine trying to control the position from guard on top but Orsini is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Orsini wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Orsini looking to hit a scissor sweep but Laine is one step ahead there.

Orsini is trying to control the position but Laine postures up.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Laine turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Orsini takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

It looks like Alessandro Orsini has been cut.
Laine lands with a nice body punch.
Alessandro Orsini is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Laine checks a leg kick.
Musta Laine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Orsini uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Laine.

Orsini throws a hook to the side of Laine's head but Laine sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Laine lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Laine throws a low kick but it's checked well by Orsini.
It seemed like Orsini was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Orsini avoids the body shot from Laine.
Orsini misses with an uppercut. Laine saw that one coming.
Laine attempts a counter takedown but Orsini avoids it well and moves away.
Nice sprawl there from Orsini as Laine shoots in.
Laine throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Orsini counters with a stiff right hand.

It looks like Musta Laine has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Laine misses with an uppercut
and Orsini connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Orsini's jab looks to have found its range, popping Laine under the eye.
Laine keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Laine walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Orsini throws an overhand right that drops Laine like a sack of potatoes! Orsini dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

A relieved looking Alessandro Orsini thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
