Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tobias Marshall (ranked 1657 p4p, 175 weight class) and Aldo Barbados (ranked 1779 p4p, 182 weight class). Barbados has chosen What's It All For as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marshall takes a swing at Barbados's ribcage but misses.
Barbados shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Marshall misses with a body shot
and Barbados counters with a stiff right hand.
Marshall has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Tōshi in the buildup to the fight.
Marshall throws an overhand right that lands on Barbados's shoulder, as Barbados tries to avoid the shot.
A big right from Marshall misses.
Marshall throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

and Barbados connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Barbados counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Marshall is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Barbados lands a big head kick that sends Marshall tumbling to the mat! Barbados takes a step backwards and waves Marshall back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Tobias Marshall has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
That kick from Barbados tenderised Marshall's leg. Marshall is trying to keep his angry face on.
Oh Marshall is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Barbados steps in with a hook that catches Marshall right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Barbados follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Marshall looks absolutely devastated.

A very excited looking Aldo Barbados rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
