Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Damen Mayer (ranked 168 p4p, 18 weight class) and Roman Boesku (ranked 1335 p4p, 140 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Roman Boesku enters the cage!

With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Roman Boesku!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mayer has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Boesku is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Mayer.

Boesku closes the distance and clinches up with Mayer, looking for a takedown. Boesku pushes Mayer against the cage but Mayer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Mayer isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Boesku stacks Mayer on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Boesku!
