Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Harold Shipman (ranked 740 p4p, 98 weight class) and Vasili Komaroff (ranked 1503 p4p, 185 weight class). Shipman comes to the cage accompanied by Amazing. Vasili Komaroff has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vasili Komaroff!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Robert Douchet and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Shipman.

Komaroff bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Komaroff goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Shipman was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Shipman keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
It looked like Shipman wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Shipman throws a series of punches but Komaroff avoids them all with ease.
Komaroff takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Shipman is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Komaroff.
Komaroff shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Shipman defends it nicely.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Shipman accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Komaroff looking for a sweep. Not yet Komaroff, not yet.
Komaroff manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Shipman manages to get himself to full guard.

Komaroff keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Shipman's head.
Komaroff stands up over Shipman, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Komaroff is working Shipman over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Shipman utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Shipman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Komaroff connects with a couple of short punches.
Komaroff is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Komaroff looking to sit in guard and control but Shipman gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Komaroff holds on and takes a little breather.
Shipman stands up over Komaroff, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Komaroff has momentary wrist control but Shipman slips an elbow through the middle.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
Komaroff lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Komaroff wants to control from the top but Shipman keeps moving.
Shipman wants to stand up but Komaroff is controlling him.
Komaroff postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Komaroff stops Shipman from standing up.

Shipman is looking for a triangle but Komaroff pushes his legs off easily.
Shipman manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Komaroff manages to get himself to full guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Harold Shipman will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Komaroff stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.


Shipman is rocked!
Komaroff cracks Shipman's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Shipman slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Komaroff can do further damage! This one is done, son!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Vasili Komaroff!
Vasili Komaroff looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'IM THE FUCKING CHAMPION! GIVE ME ANYBODY AND I WILL KILL THEM LIKE I JUST KILLED GAULTIER'.
