Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 17 - 0, fighting out of London, Raheem Nazir!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ed Killer!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Killer shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Nazir eats them both and turns towards Killer to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.


It looks like Raheem Nazir has been cut.
A lazy body kick from Killer

so Nazir counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Nazir works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Killer trying to control from the bottom.

Nazir is trying to work for a kimura but Killer is defending well.

Killer has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Nazir escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Nazir!
Killer tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Nazir wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Nazir tries to advance to mount but Killer denies him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nazir content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Killer is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Killer wants to control but Nazir postures up.
Killer is trying to improve his position.
Killer is trying to get back to his feet.
Killer taking punishment in the form of punches.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Nazir scores with a couple of short elbows.
Killer is trying to get back to half guard.
Nazir is working Killer over with some ground and pound from side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Killer is looking for a sweep.
Nazir lands an elbow.
Nazir scores with punches from side control.
Nazir lands a nice forearm strike.


Killer is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A lull in the action here as Nazir stalls from top position.
Killer is still in real trouble! Can Nazir finish him?
Nazir scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Killer to see if he's OK.
Nazir cracks Killer with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Nazir immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Killer is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Nazir!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Raheem Nazir!
