The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zaidi shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Zaidi showed some decent athleticism there.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Zaidi connects with a nice short shot to Cobb's temple.
Cobb is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Zaidi scores with a couple of nice shots.
Zaidi drops an elbow to the side of Cobb's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zaidi seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Cobb knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Zaidi on the ground.
Cobb is trying to stand up here but Zaidi is controlling him well.
Zaidi looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Cobb with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Oh Cobb is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Zaidi is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Cobb is hurt! He's hurt bad - Zaidi fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Cobb from any more punishment! Congratulations to Zaidi! Great finish!
