Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mark Laws (ranked 3486 p4p, 392 weight class) and Chief Wolf (ranked 3673 p4p, 415 weight class). Chief Wolf told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Laws!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chief Wolf!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wolf looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Laws knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wolf on the ground.
Wolf seems to be working for a kimura but Laws defends the submission attempt.
Laws has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Wolf is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Wolf works his way into side control.
Laws is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Wolf is controlling him well.
Wolf tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Wolf has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Laws pushes Wolf away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Wolf gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Wolf has hold of Laws's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Laws seems comfortable defending it but Wolf has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Laws is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Laws is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Wolf couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Chief Wolf!
Chief Wolf got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
