I think Smith might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Therion - Sitra Ahra. Landry has chosen Ride Wit Me - Nelly as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Mike Smith had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That kick from Landry tenderised Smith's leg. Smith is trying to keep his angry face on.
Landry throws a series of punches but Smith avoids them all with ease.
Smith misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Smith has Landry up against the cage in a clinch.

and Smith counters with a one-two to the body.
Landry throws a right hand that Smith ducks under and follows up with a left that Smith also avoids with ease.
Landry throws a series of punches but Smith moves out of range.
Smith connects with a leg kick. Landry looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Landry throws a right and a left that Smith avoids nicely.
Smith uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Landry has time to react.

Smith cracks Landry with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Smith has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Landry to stand back up!

Smith lands a big head kick that sends Landry tumbling to the mat! Smith takes a step backwards and waves Landry back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Landry drops Smith with a beautiful combination! Smith stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Landry is looking for the KO!

Smith seems to have got his legs back now.

Landry will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
A jab from Smith finds it's way through Landry's defenses.

Landry lands a big head kick that sends Smith to the canvas! Landry follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

After the fight, Ed Landry was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
