Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kazushi Mizushima (ranked 1545 p4p, 193 weight class) and Solomon Slater (ranked 5727 p4p, 560 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kazushi Mizushima!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 1, fighting out of New York, Solomon Slater!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slater misses with a few strikes there.
And Mizushima counters with a quick kick to the body but Slater blocks it.
Slater has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Mizushima.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Mizushima lands a left hand.
A short right from Mizushima on the inside.
Slater is trying to break free.
Slater has had enough of the clinch but Mizushima keeps him there for the moment.
Slater looking to slow down the pace here.
Mizushima lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mizushima misses with the head strike.
Mizushima keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Slater's efforts to push away.

Slater wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Mizushima lands with a right to the head.
Mizushima has Slater pressed against the cage, preventing Slater from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Slater has had enough of the clinch but Mizushima keeps him there for the moment.

Mizushima successfully pulls guard.
Slater has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Mizushima is proving hard to escape from.

Mizushima working for a triangle but Slater defends it easily.

Slater has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Mizushima to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Slater is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Mizushima pulls down on the head and he's put Slater to sleep! This one is all over!
