The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cusumano uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cash.
Cash pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Cusumano back to the cage. Cash follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

It looks like Steve Cusumano has been cut.
We've been informed that Cusumano has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Cusumano crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Cash - the referee stops the clock and Cusumano gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Cash. Cusumano manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Cusumano throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cash was covering up waiting for the punch and Cusumano finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Cusumano is sitting in close to Cash's body. Cash has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Cusumano is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Cusumano is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Cash.
