Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bob Cook!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kieran Summers!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cook throws a series of strikes that have Summers backpedaling.
Summers moves out of range as Cook strikes.
Cook throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Summers counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
We've been informed that Summers has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Summers looks to score with a jab to the body but Cook is just out of range.
Summers misses with an attempted mid kick.
Summers waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Cook.
Summers throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cook's waist but Cook gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Summers off to one side.
Cook misses with a low kick.
Cook moves out of range as Summers throws a body kick.
Summers lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Summers drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Summers pushes down on Cook's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cook wants to improve his position but Summers is controlling well.
Cook is in trouble now - Summers has advanced to mount!
Summers can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Cook is looking to escape.

Summers looking to secure an arm triangle but Cook defends it well.
Summers wants to control the pace but Cook is squirming around nicely.
Summers wants to control but instead Cook manages to regain half guard.
Summers wants to control but Cook is keeping him busy.
Summers wants to pass the guard but Cook is defending well.
Cook on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Cook tries to get out of the position.
Summers is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Cook is trying to get back to full guard.

Summers is looking for a kimura here.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Cook is looking to control Summers's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Cook avoid being mounted?

Cook is not content to let Summers control the position.

Summers has an Americana. Cook didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Summers is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Summers hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Kieran Summers seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
