Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Matvey Pavlov (ranked 984 p4p, 101 weight class) and Magomed Khaibulaev (ranked 2892 p4p, 254 weight class). Pavlov kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Prokofiev - Dance of the Knights. Magomed Khaibulaev struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 147.3lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Pavlov closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Khaibulaev did well to prevent Pavlov getting side control.

Pavlov has one arm under Khaibulaev 's neck. Khaibulaev is controlling the other arm well. He's just looking to survive right now. Pavlov manages to get his arm free though and Khaibulaev is in a world of trouble! Pavlov sinks in the hooks and squeezes! Khaibulaev turns purple and then goes limp. The referee steps in to end the bout!
