The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shapirov moves away from the strike by Grasso.
Grasso misses with a body shot.
Grasso throws out a powerful jab.
Grasso cracks Shapirov with a good jab.
Grasso throws the left hand but Shapirov avoids the punch easily.
Grasso misses with a body shot.
Grasso gets cracked there but stands up to it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shapirov swings widly with a right hand
and Grasso connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Shapirov walks into a jab.

Shapirov has managed to clinch.

Grasso is fighting off a takedown attempt but Shapirov is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Grasso to the mat. Grasso regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Grasso is looking to stand back up but Shapirov counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Grasso.

Shapirov is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Grasso sees it coming and defends easily.

Shapirov is trying for a kimura here. Grasso looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Shapirov wins by kimura!
