Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Sainty (ranked 1620 p4p, 198 weight class) and Feihck Tiote (ranked 1664 p4p, 202 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Feihck Tiote!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tiote shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Sainty napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Sainty has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Sainty prevents Tiote from improving position.
Sainty tries to bench press Tiote off him but Tiote keeps the position.
Tiote grinds an elbow into Sainty's temple.
Sainty sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tiote landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Sainty is rocked!
Well, if Tiote is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Tiote moves nicely into side control.
Sainty tries to improve position but can't.

Tiote in side control lands a decent elbow.
Tiote wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sainty keeps working.
Tiote tries to move to mount but Sainty blocks the move with his legs.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

Tiote content to control rather than advance.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Tiote passes to full mount!
Tiote looking to control and managing it successfully.
Sainty is in all sorts of trouble here.
Sainty really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Tiote tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Tiote working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Tiote is keen to just control but Sainty is a slippery customer.
Tiote is looking to control the position but Sainty frees his trapped leg and locks up an armbar from the bottom! It looks tight! Tiote grimaces and holds on for a second but is forced to tap or have his arm broken! Slick Jiu Jitsu from Sainty there - Tiote really paying for some sloppy defensive work!

Daniel Sainty really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that IniTech Nutrition logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
