Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Morley (ranked 2822 p4p, 293 weight class) and Eugene Peavris (ranked 21000 p4p, 655 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Morley manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Peavris on his heels. He'll look to pass Peavris's guard now, I'm sure.
Peavris is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Peavris tries to pass to full mount but Morley defends it.

Peavris is working Morley over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Peavris bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Morley's guard.

Morley closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Our spies down at at La Gym Delgrand inform us that Peavris has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

That was a close round but I would say that Adam Morley will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Morley shoots in for a takedown but Peavris shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Peavris is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Morley's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Morley's back!
