Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ron Burgundy (ranked 676 p4p, 59 weight class) and Wabricio Ferdum (ranked 433 p4p, 35 weight class). Ferdum has chosen PARIS - the devil made me do it as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burgundy digs a good body shot into Ferdum's ribs.

Ferdum pushes Burgundy up against the cage in a clinch.

Burgundy breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Burgundy catches Ferdum with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Ron Burgundy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Burgundy throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ferdum misses with a hook. Burgundy ducked under it nicely.
Burgundy swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Burgundy scores with a kick to the body.
Burgundy fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
A looping hook to the body misses from Burgundy. Ferdum does a little dance to reset his feet.
Ferdum swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Ferdum scores with a jab to the jaw.
Ferdum keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Burgundy lands a right hook to the body.
Burgundy is looking to wear down Ferdum with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
That kick from Burgundy tenderised Ferdum's leg. Ferdum is trying to keep his angry face on.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Burgundy, right into the meat.
Burgundy just misses with a punch to the body.
Ferdum tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Burgundy misses with a head kick.
Ferdum has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Ferdum there as he acknowledges the shot.
Burgundy staying out of range there.
Nice straight punches there by Burgundy. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Burgundy.

Ferdum is rocked!
Burgundy throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ferdum stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Ferdum is still on wobbly legs! Can Burgundy finish him?
Ferdum looks winded!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ferdum drops his hands for a split second and Burgundy immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Ferdum face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Burgundy follows up with a right hand that knocks Ferdum into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
