Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hussein Stahl (ranked 3493 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robo Pope (ranked 15981 p4p, 0 weight class). Pope has chosen Ghost - Monstrance Clock as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hussein Stahl!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 53 - 0, fighting out of New York, Robo Pope!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Chad Campbell and Jonathan Paton.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stahl tries for a takedown but Pope sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Despite the aggression on Pope's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Pope looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Stahl scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

It looks like Robo Pope has been cut.

Stahl feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Pope can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Stahl controls the pace.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stahl is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Pope has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Stahl lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Pope is looking to close the distance but Stahl sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Pope crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Pope is OK because that was naaaaaasty!

Hussein Stahl decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
The defeated Robo Pope had this to say: 'I hope to be the first MMA fighter to die in the ring. Help make my dream come true.'.
